"When I was shooting a magazine, I tried to take a portrait-like picture, and instead of using the usual film camera, I shot it with a special method called 8x10 Polaroid, and hide was very pleased.

In particular, this photo is a special one with a rare "profile" and a look that I have never seen even though I have taken many photos.

At the time of shooting, hide often wants to have an aggressive look, such as sharp eyes, in order to create a world view as an artist hide.

However, in this photo, both the human "Hideto Matsumoto (hide's real name)" and the artist "hide" were glimpsed, and the very natural and soft expression with weak shoulders was impressive.

And I felt that the eyes looking far away with a slight upward glance were gentle but looking into the future, with a sense of strength and hope.

Hideo Kanno Born in Hokkaido Born in Date City, Fukushima Prefecture.
