I am seeing all kinds of rOtring fountain pens on eBay that have been misidentified as Rotring 400s, including the later Esprit model and even the rOtring 900. This is a real rOtring 400 fountain pen, with medium steel nib (the same nib you find on the earlier rOtring 600 fountain pens). This pen has never been inked.
