NOTE: This adapter is commonly used on 1987-2018 Ford F150's, 1996-2004 Ford Rangers and 1983-2001 Chevrolet S10s to adapt the factory intermediate pipe to a 3" inlet muffler.

This pipe is made from a high quality high aluminized mild steel for a long service life.
This adapter can be trimmed to desired length by cutting unswelled end.
This can either be clamped or welded to your
existing pipe.
Typically, pipes are measured by their outside diameter (OD), so you would want to select an adapter or coupling that has an inside diameter (ID) matching the OD of your pipe. On the other hand, components are generally measured by their ID, so you would want to select an adapter or coupling that has an OD matching the ID of your component.
