This is a beautiful Handmade, Embroidered and Woven Costume from the Ethnic Minorities of China.  The Miao, Hmong and other peoples of the Minority Tribes people have have produced fanciful, colorful costumes with distinctive flavors. They display superlative embroidery, brocading and batik. Most costume items or accessories are decorated with flowers, birds and animals from the surrounding landscape. Anthropomorphic and zoomorphic images that are often abstracted. Traditional auspicious designs appear, even among patterns that are completely geometric.  Some parts of these minority groups, particularly the Miao, migrated southward into Vietnam, Laos and Thailand, where they are known as H'mong. Most of the textiles and folk art are important to the minority tribes as it a sense of their identify,  by showing their superb craftsmanship, excellent materials and color, that inspire and create their individual cultural expressions.  This is collectors piece will be a wonderful adornment for your home or collection.
