Vintage Baby Bunting Baby Plate, Trentle China Co..

Baby Bunting Baby Plate made by Trentle China Co. In East Liverpool, Ohio. It was made before the 1930’s. Plate is approximately 7 1/2” in diameter & 1” deep. The gold gilding that spells out Baby ‘s Plate is slightly faded as is the blue ring around the rim of the plate. The writing under the center picture is difficult to read, but it says Baby bunting lifts his hat politely to the pussy cat. There is a child in the middle of the plate lifting its hat with cat & dog close by. There are two pigs up at the top of the plate & 2 puppies that are on logs. There is paint missing to design in center of plate(see pic). Has staining on front & back of plate. There is very little crazing noted despite the 90+ years of this plate. There is a chip on the outside of the plate near the rim & a smaller one almost opposite to the other one on the bottom. Condition is pre-owned, but in good condition for the age of this baby plate.
