A dwarf, compact, bush or basket variety Maskotka was specially bred for growing in baskets and containers, where the stems and fruit can hang gently over the sides.
Maskotka produces heavy crops of small, red, very tasty, cherry type tomatoes on slender stems and the fruit has a good resistance to cracking.
When planted outdoors Maskotka needs some protection against cold winds until well established. After first fruits have set feed plants weekly with a high potash fertiliser.
It is not necessary to pinch out top growth or side-shoots on Maskotka tomato plants.
Harvest fruits regularly to promote further flowering and to extend the picking season.
Use for immediate consumption, conserving or decoration
