First Contact War:

This was the first war humanity had with another intelligent species. When the humans first discovered Charon Relay, they quickly began expansion into other systems. Driven by curiosity, they began activating as many mass relays as they could find.

When they began reactivating Relay 314, the Turians Hierarchy took noticed and sought to enforce the Citadel Council’s mandate on not reactivating it. First to fire, the Turians entered conflict asserting their power on what they viewed as an ignorant race. This would lead to various battles between the two races and the occupation and liberation of Shanxi. Finally ending, with the Council’s intervention, negotiating peace between the two.

What started as a misunderstand, would turn into a war that lasted for 3 months. It would shape humanity’s view of other intelligent races, and their view on humanity, for years to come.
