Antique Inverted Thumbprint CRANBERRY & SILVERPLATE PICKLE CASTOR with TONGS.  This lovely castor is from the 1880-1900 time period.  It is in PRISTINE CONDITION!  The glass insert has no chips or cracks.  The whole frame and tongs looks like they have been re-silvered.   On the inside bottom of the frame is stamped "Quadruple Plate Warranted" and "Aurora S.P. MFG. CO.".  The castor measures 11-1/4" tall and 4-3/4" across the bottom.  The cranberry insert is 4-7/8" tall and 3" across the top opening.  The tongs are 7" long.  This piece is very BEAUTIFUL!  Thank you for looking!
