Up for sale here we have a rare 1974 Left-Handed Gibson Les Paul Custom in a black finish. This guitar is in a very good condition and is mostly all original and comes with the original case. The body is a typical 2-piece Mahogany pancake body with a 3-piece neck, the guitar weighs only 9.6lbs so very light for a Les Paul of this era, the pickups are the patent sticker T-Tops and sound great. The frets are original and so yes, it's still a"fretless wonder" guitar and with a comfortable C-shape neck and nut width of 1 11/16 makes this a really great and easy playing Les Paul. The control pot codes read #1377412 and with serial #182353 it comes up as a '71-'73 model that was made either in Kalamazoo, Michigan or at the Nashville plant. This rare Lefty is pretty much stock except for the changed out knobs and the tail piece, also at some point it must've had a second pickguard installed or it was setup for right handed playing which makes no sense but, yeah... The controls are untouched, the neck is straight, truss rod works and no cracks anywhere, no repairs just overall a really cool and light Les Paul which is rare it being under 10 pounds.
