There is some wear to the gold edge. The gold has a darker hue in certain areas I did try and photograph this. The piece the plate rests on does have some staining but it is minor and all photographed. Some areas of gold are darker than the brighter areas.

The areas of blue paint have stained from a dark reddish tinge it is photographed.
