Tough, Made in the U.S.A. product. I?ve planted 200 pine...

Tough, Made in the U.S.A. product. I?ve planted 200 pine tree seedlings with it, works awesome. If you?re in dry clay you have to work it a little. I did bend the handle a little. I was able to straighten it by reversing the pull on the next use. Definitely worth the money. Saved me a lot of time.

As they say in the movies, it's "just like the picture"! I am waiting on bare root seedlings from the N.H. dept. of Agriculture and hopefully a lull in Mud Season to give the dibble its first workout. Have previously planted with spade and it was a chore!

This dibble did not at all serve the purpose for which I bought it. I needed it (I thought!) to plant 400 to 500 pine seedlings in one day by hand. (I could easily do twice that in my wet winter Tx Gulf coast gumbo soil in my twenties - 40 years ago.) But in different soil, in northeast Tx, drier, this dibble did not work. Its blade is too dull, and the single-side stomping bar was inadequate. I used a plain sharp-shooter (sharper blade, could step on it with both feet) successfully to plant 350 trees. So it was a wasted purchase for me.
