Antique Clutch Purse Leather Specie Wallet 19th Century Change Train Ticket Stub.

Original 19th century antique leather wallet/clutch/purse. The name “Specie” is embossed on the front. I’m unable to find any additional information on whether this was a company or if it refers to money in the form of coins. When I acquired this item it had a train ticket stub inside from the Michigan Central Railroad dated: August 21 1896. This is included and provides some nice provenance. There are no rips or holes, just wear and fading consistent with age.
