TWO LARGE OLD WOODEN AMULET PENDANTS – NAGA PEOPLE – SECOND HALF 20th C.

These wooden amulets originate from the Naga people (northeastern India and northwestern Myanmar).

These large amulet pendants depicting a human skull and a female head were worn to obtain health, good luck and fortune.

Age: second half 20^th C.

Size and weight: skull 18 cm high, 11.3 cm wide, 5.5 cm thick. Weight: 250 gr.

female head 18 cm high, 14 cm wide, 5.5 cm thick. Weight: 305 gr.

Condition: These pendants are in good condition taking into account their age. Good signs of use and age patina. Look carefully to the pictures, which are an integral part of the description. Consequently any damage or repair to the object not mentioned in the text, but visible in the photos, are considered to be described.
