Estate sale purchase---probably from the 1950s--appears to be wool. Set consists of a sweater with belt (mother of pearl buckle), hat, and leggings. There are moth holes present in various areas of the outfit---I have shown closeups of some, but they can also be seen in the pictures. The hat appears to be OK with no damage.
Hat is a tight knit with rope trim around the face area of blue and white--white pom pom on the end. The sweater has probably been washed, as it has faded to a lighter color--the belt is still the original color. There are several holes in the sweater--could probably be 'darned' and repaired, but I have not tried to do that. Sweater closes with white buttons--vintage mother of pearl type--and has detail at collar and bottom. There is also some pilling.
Leggings also have damage--see pictures--there are cotton stirrups under the legs to keep the leggings in place.
As I said, this set is sold as pictured and described---be aware of the defects mentioned and bid accordingly. Read return policy above.
