Item & Condition
For your consideration we have this fantastic 23-stone pyramid-style diamond ring presented in a solid 14k yellow gold setting. The ring is stamped 14KP, indicating “Karat Plumb” or “exact measurement”. The ring is electronically tested and guaranteed to be solid gold of 14k purity. The ring is signed “Magic Glo” by the designer. Magic Glo is a brand owned by Le Roy Jewelry Co., Inc. The ring is sold in the condition shown, with no documentation.
This is a size 4.75 ring weighing 6.4 grams. The stones are a combination of .2, .15, and .075 natural diamonds. The ring has a lovely symmetry, with a large top stone and two more in its row, followed by a layer of four stones of identical size, then six stones, then four stones, and finally six small stones on the far ends. As the rows ascend to the center, the diamond size varies from small to large. Total carat weight is at least 2.5, and likely closer to 2.7 ct.
The gold and gemstones are all electronically tested and guaranteed to be pure and authentic. There is some variation among the diamonds in terms of color, a few of them have carbon specks that gives off a slightly more steel tone. There is one diamond in the second level that is a bit darker than the rest; this is simply a property of mineral’s formation. All the stones have identical cuts and are original to the ring. The ring is preowned but in excellent condition. There are some micro sized nicks and fine polishing scratches that can be touched up by the next owner, as desired. The stones are wonderfully kept with no chips or fractures other than the natural inclusions that are a characteristic of the mineral. The ring has never needed repairs and it has never been sized. The designer stamp has rubbed away but is still mostly legible. The band is perfectly round. Ultrasonically cleaned to remove any unwanted accumulations.
