Step 1:

Remove the past awning rafter rivet with drill.

Step 2:

Align the new rafter rivet with the holes in the awning arm. (The grooved side is up.)

Step 3:

Apply pressure to the mandrel and secure the rivets in place.

Step 4:

Finished.
