This listing is for a single Cessna (whiskey style) Compass, designed for flight simulation and Cockpit Builders.
The Unit is 65mm wide x 80mm high x 73 mm long, including the extended top.
This item is made in the UK by Sim Wales and is in stock ready for shipping.
It a fully working unit that is driven by a stepper motor. It comes complete with a stepper driver card.
To avoid confusion it is NOT fitted with a USB
connection, it requires an interface card or joystick emulator in order to
work.

Typically this could be an Open Cockpits or Leo Bodnar card, or an Arduino Card combined with a software product like MobiFlight, SimVim or ProSim to make it fully operational. A set of fully illustrated set-up and operating instructions will be included in the box, this is mainly based on the freeware MobiFlight software using FSX, P3D or FS2020.
Of course if you have other interface cards like those from Open Cockpits, it should work equally well with those.
It has a removable bass that provides a secure method of attaching it to your glare-shield or desktop (shown in image 6).
The compass is backlit for those night flights. I apologise for the image ( No 7) it looks much better in real life, unfortunately I had to reduce the light to show the backlight in operation.
The unit requires both a 12 volt and separate 5 volt power sources.
FInal Note:
To be perfectly clear this is not a real aircraft part, and is not suitable for use in any real world aircraft.
