The arm can be adjusted in height

and the angle of the shade can also be adjusted.

It is a good quality piece with a heavy weighted base.

The frame is metal,

but I can't say for sure if it's cast iron.

The lamp has been re-wired.

It is in good condition for its age,

but the upper part of the mount is slightly tilted.

A tiny chip on the rim of the shade,

and a few bubbles in the glass

(2 last pictures).

This lamp can work perfectly in the USA, Canada ...
It is not necessary to rewire a European lamp
(unless of course the electric cables are damaged, which is not the case here),
the electric wires are used only to conduct electricity, regardless of the voltage ...
THE IMPORTANT thing is to use the right BULBS
(adapted to your voltage, with socket E27)
AND plan to CHANGE the electrical plug, corresponding to your wall outlet
