This is a Vintage Jack Daniels Old Time Tennessee whiskey Old No. 7 wood retail display for countertop. It measures 6 inches deep by 17 inches tall by 16 inches wide. 

I originally thought that this was some kind of cassette tape holder with the 36 compartments. It  looked to be the size for cassettes but they are a little bit bigger and deeper. Maybe it was made for whiskey bottles in a retail display environment. Not exactly sure. 

The entire box is made of wood and has box joints which authenticates it's age to be probably 70's/80's. The front sign slides up to store possibly more liquor behind it. As I stated before there were 36 compartments three rows of 12 that are recessed.  

If you have a retail liquor store or vintage liquor collection, this would be the perfect fit.
