If you were growing up in the 70's, chances are that you watched the Partridge Family on TV every week.  Like most kids, I was a regular viewer and my favorite part of the show was always the Partridge Family Bus (actually it was Susan Dey, and then the bus, but I digress).

I even had a Partridge Family lunchbox (which I'd kill to still have by the way), it had the bus on one side and group on the other.

The actual bus used was a 1955 Chevy which appeared in the pilot episode looking like a regular beat up old school bus.  If you saw the episode, you'll remember how Shirley Jones took about 2 minutes to negotiate a deal to buy the bus, which they immediately drove off the lot.  Once they got it home, everyone joined in to paint the bus and within about another three minutes of TV super-cool colorful bus was born.
