Here is an interesting bit of travel trivia. In the years following the Second World War, a no doubt long delayed tour of France and beyond was undertaken by persons unknown. On that trip someone took it upon themselves to document (or so it seems) their daily adventures by purchasing postcards of each point of interest. Somewhat unusually he or she took the time to quickly number each card's back in chronological order (it is assumed) beginning with number 1 and continuing through to 231 ... always with a green pencil.

Condition; Mild tip and edge wear. Clean and unposted. Continental size.
