Bit of a weird one this

Bought it at an antique shop hoping it was jade and old!

On inspection it is probably soap stone 

Also it has Chinese wording on the base and the name “Butterworth”

This should belong to anyone with this surname as an heirloom?

Really hope a Butterworth comes across this auction and puts it back where it belongs
