Since their shocking Woodstock performance, Santana has become a sensation in the rock scene in the early 70's. Their debut album, "Santana," immediately debuted at #4 in the U.S., followed by the immortal masterpiece, "Abraxas," which quickly reached #1 in the U.S.

In 1971, the third Santana album, "Santana III", with the addition of the then 17-year-old "child prodigy" Neal Schon (G), again reached No. 1 in the U.S. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of this album, the world's first SA-CD multi-hybrid disc is finally available.

The original Quadraphonic master (4-channel mix) has been converted to DSD, and you can enjoy the surround mix in a different dimension from the usual stereo disc in high sound quality.
The sound is so innovative that it seems as if the audience is surrounded by the music and the performance is so powerful and realistic.
The CD layer is also the latest remastered version from the SA-CD 2-channel high-resolution master.

The packaging is a 7-inch paper-jacket version of the elaborately resized domestic Quadraphonic LP, and the Japanese single jacket and overseas announcement poster of the time are also reissued.
This is a permanent preservation disc for Santana fans all over the world!
