This is a wonderful old book from around 1900 in Germany.  The full title is, Moderne Kunst in Meisterholzschnitten Nach Gemälden Und Skulpturen, which translates to; Modern art in master woodcuts after paintings and sculptures.   It is profusely illustrated with color and black & white illustrations.

The first section of the book is strictly illustrations, full and double page with blank backs.  These seem to be removable and the double pages are joined so they could possibly be framed.  The second section of about 200 pages has what looks like articles and stories and tons of illustrations, and even some photographs.  It is a treasure trove of vintage artwork and images.  This seems to have been published periodically because there are several different editions.

This book measures about 16” x 12” x 1.5” and there is some normal wear for a book it’s age.  The page edges are gold in color.
