(#CAB2-2) Cameo is new, hand stained, made of natural pine resin to which color is added. This is a hand-molded (reproduced from the original shell cameo) cameo of an African American PROFILE WOMAN, HAIR UP, with nice detail, MILK CHOCOLATE BROWN color with IVORY color background, on a piece of reproduction brass, made into a bookmark. 

Cameo itself is 1-3/16" long x 15/16" wide.

The theme of African-American women in cameos is RARE, there is mention of this in the book "Cameos Old & New (2nd Edition) by Anna M. Miller, G.G. (I recommend the book for anyone collecting cameos).
