Instructions :
To Get Beautiful Impressions -
- Use a well annealed solid metal or Sheet metal.
- With sheet metal you can use a piece of urethane.
- A hammer of suitable size.
- Manual press/ Hydraulic press if available.
- Also for very good impressions on thin metal sheet, a suitable sized blob of molten electric soldering wire can be first used to get the impression on the solder blob and then sandwich the sheet between the die and impression ready solder blob and hammering will get a very crisp impression. This is usually required only when working with very deep impression dies, mostly urethane works fine.
