1934 $5 Federal Reserve Note PCGS 65 PPQ Miami Beach Hoard
1934 $5 Federal Reserve Note PCGS 65 PPQ GEM New Miami Beach Hoard. Fr. 1956-F Dark Green Seal Mule. It is harder to get a GEM grade and PPQ since these notes were found inside of the wall for many years under the southern climate and humidity.
In 2009 a batch of 2,000 notes were found during remodeling of a 1920's mansion in the Miami Beach area. These notes were found inside of the wall and they are called 'Miami Beach Hoard' or 'Miami Beach Mansion Hoard' by PCGS certification process. Most of the notes are dated in 1934. A novelty piece for money stored away during the depression time.
