Consumers have the right to cancel the order for a full refund within 7 days beginning the day after the goods are received. In order to cancel an order notification of the intention to cancel must be communicated within the above timescale by email, telephone or post.

Any cancellations made outside of the above timescale will be liable to a restocking and administration fee.

ITEMS MUST BE RETURNED CARRIAGE PAID

THE BUYER MUST COVER ALL CARRIAGE EXPENSES, AND MUST BE RETURNED IN A RESALABLE CONDITION.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO LEVY A CHARGE OF UP TO 100% OF THE ITEM VALUE AT OUR DISCRETION IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE TO THE RETURNED ITEM.

Our guarantee covers parts only. We do not cover any labour charges for any faults arising from the fitting of a part we supplied. The guarantee is void if any part has been tampered with in any way (i.e. seals broken, item taken apart, etc) unless otherwise agreed.


If any unauthorized alterations are found to have been made to a part then any return may be refused. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.

Our Returns Policy


You are more than welcome to return an item if we have made a mistake. However, if you have 'changed your mind' or made a mistake (ie: not checked part number or purchased wrong item)then you are still welcome to send the item back at your expense BUT we will refund you minus 20% of the original item cost and minus a £5.00 handling fee.

Please make sure it is the right part BEFORE you press buy

All Cleveland-Auto-Recyclers items are marked with a tamper proof marking, called SelectaDNA, If the marking is damaged or missing warranty is automatically void.

If you do not agree with our return policy then please do not buy from us. Thanks Most purchases from business sellers are protected

by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item.

The Warranty period is as shown on your receipt. The receipt forms part of your warranty paperwork therefore needed for any claims.

If you do experience any problems, we advise you to contact or message us for help / advice.

The guarantee does not cover failure caused by you the buyer ie alteration to the part / item negligence, misuse, accident, alteration, incorrect or non-recommended application and damage caused by incorrect specification or levels of oils and fluids, coolants anti-freeze fluid or any filters.

All items Marked / Stated "Spares/Repairs" this means No Warranty & No Refund.

It is the responsibility of the Customer, Installation Mechanic / Fitter to ensure that all joints, seals, hoses and plugs fit/join, and are securely fastened. That the cooling system is functioning without leaks and blockages, and that the correct new oil filter and oil are installed correctly.

The guarantee only covers the main item(s) as described on the invoice / listing i.e. When any ancillaries are redeemed on for example an engine, this warranty does not cover for fuel pumps, manifolds, clutch's, cam / timing belt, timing chain or tensioner, seals etc. Also if you buy an engine listed with injectors & pump the guarantee only covers the engine

Back axles are guaranteed to work properly, bearings are supposed to be free from excessive noise at time of purchase but not guaranteed. When ancillary items are left attached, brakes, suspension bushes are not covered

All engines are guaranteed against engine block, crankshaft, big end main bearings, pistons, cylinder head and camshafts and are in running order unless otherwise stated.

Cylinder heads are only guaranteed against cracks only

This Warranty is not transferable and does not cover damage if damaged parts or equipment are used to cause damage to our item / items also accident or misuse is not covered.

Cleveland-Auto-Recyclers does not accept any responsibility for damage to the part or any motor vehicle to which it is fitted too or inefficient installation or subsequent damage caused by lack of maintenance or for any loss of use of a motor vehicle whilst a part is being returned for exchange.

Any Electrical parts including ECUs that are deemed faulty, we reserve the right to replace the unit or offer a refund in full if a replacement be unavailable. We cannot be held responsible for any third party involvement costs such as coding issues or such like. This also applies to storage and reprogramming costs occurred by any customer or any other external costs occurred.

This terms of condition of business are not intended to restrict or exclude any legal rights

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Any postage damages must be reported within 24 hours of being received other wise it can effect any courier damage claim costs
