The dawn of pop culture in the 2020's. A new dimension of pop music from the ever-evolving diva Grimes is here!

Grimes, a self-taught songwriter and producer who started her career as a DIY home recording girl and rose to become a global pop icon, has released her fifth and latest album "Miss Anthropocene" on the "4AD" label.

While clothed in rock sounds and industrial music atmospheres, her unique futuristic cyber-synth-goth-pop also has a catchy feel as a royal pop song, indicating that she has taken the musical revolution she has proven time and time again to new heights.

The album also features innovative and fresh collaborations, such as "Violence," co-written with i_o, an up-and-coming artist in the techno scene, and "Darkseid," which features Pan Pan, a Taiwanese rapper who resonated with her so much that they both participated in each other's songs.

The Japanese CD includes one bonus track, "We Appreciate Power (with HANA)," co-written with American singer-songwriter Hana and inspired by North Korea's Botanbong Band and written from the perspective of an idol unit that aims to promote artificial intelligence.
