My bedroom is the hottest room in the house. It has ONE heat/ac vent, and it is located UNDER MY COMPUTER DESK. Because of the layout of the room and power sources, this is unavoidable. Needless to say, the underside of my desk is comfortably cool - while my room is NOT. However, the climate has vastly improved since I purchased this Air Deflector. It pushes the cool air out from under the desk, allowing for more dispersal into the room. The only issue I have is that the deflector is magnetized so that it can secure itself to the metal vent cover. My cover is plastic - so I find that I have to check it periodically to make sure I haven't knocked it askew. A small price to pay for a comfier room.
