The simplicity of what you're getting here is pretty obvious. This comes from the parts that had to be created for the lumber bodies I have listed. The way the molds are made both decks have to be "shot" or "injected" together. So this is a by product of those lumber beds.
Great for kitbashing, this is kind of a generic trailer deck, or truck flatbed. It scales out to 18 ft roughly (I get 18'2" but don't presume that is exact), so what you're getting is close to a 18 ft flatbed body in length. The deck is molded in a wood/woodgrain type of surface. I've tried to show it in pictures.
This kit part was produced for THC Worldwide. I believe Lindberg owned the molds at the time and produced these for THC. But I don't know this for fact. For anyone who doesn't already know, the flatbed trailer that IMC released in the early 70s came from the same molds that Testors, and now Lindberg uses. This flatbed section comes from the same flatbed molds.
Good for adding to a cab chassis, car hauler/gooseneck trailer building, custom fabrication, scratch building etcetc..
