A naturally bright red feather from the base of the tail.Usually there are only one or two pairs of these per tail. Each packet represents at least 5 tails.
Very nice of Spey-type salmon patterns.
The reverse side of the feather is a rich russet. Feathers are short - about 20-25mm; longest fibre length in the brightest part about 15mm.
