As you are about to proceed to the Island of Granada, I would thank you to forward me as many arms and military clothing as you possibly can, as also a quantity of Beef, Pork and Biscuit. I hereby authorize you in the name of the Government to purchase said articles, and assure you that they shall be paid for, out of the first money or produce that may come into my hands. I am yours,
