Color banding visible on the abdomen. Great detail in the spiracles of the tibia suspended out of matrix in front of the last leg. There appears to be some dimension around the thorax blending into the ovipositor (stinger). 


This wasp and the crane flies up for sale purportedly come from lower layers of the lake.


Recovered from Sihetun Village (type locality, 25 miles south of Beipiao city)

in ancient lake Sihetun, a 100 foot deep lake bed covering 20 square miles.
