BELLEEK Fermanagh Ireland Basket Weave Shamrock SAUCER Only 5-th Mark 1955-1965
All the Belleek marks contain the Irish wolfhound, the Devenish Round Tower, the Irish harp and the touch of Irish shamrocks on each end. This lovely Parian ware is known for its translucency and quality. This SAUCER wears the fifth green mark for the years between 1955 to 1965.
Measurements: The saucer has a 5 5/8" diameter. This Irish porcelain is in excellent condition,no chips.

The small pottery village of Belleek in Fermanagh County, Ireland had local clay deposits that produced exceptionally translucent goods. It became known as Parian, a soft, mother of pearl glow that became associated with Belleek China.The world took notice and since 1853, Belleek has been prized.
