Vintage Mid Century 1940’s Claire Lerner California Pottery 17” Nude Lady Statue Red with gold accents.

This beautiful and very unusual statue is by Claire Lerner, California Pottery. It dates sometime between 1940-1949. After researching this particular statue, I could not find another like it, not even a google image. It seems like very unusual work for this artist. It measures 17 inches tall. Calif. USA CL 17 is incised on the lower back. It is in very good condition considering it’s age, but it does show age/light wear and crazing. It displays amazingly and is a showstopper for sure!!
