Works well with no problems. I like having the screw-terminals for connecting input and output wires. It's just a power supply, so nothing to write home about. They either work or they don't. This one works fine and the packaging is convenient.

Sometimes as a DIYer you meet your match. I thought I was ordering a power strip and instead received an LED power supply. The Armacost Lighting 36-watt LED power supply is very easy to use. It includes a removeable 5 foot power cord which makes this supply literally plug and play. The 12v terminal screws are protected by a removeable cover which also doubles as a strain relief. Simply remove the cover to access the screw terminals. The 120v side has a similar configuration. Very happy with the whole Armacost Lighting system and most strongly recommend using the Armacost LED's and accessories. Very easy to conceal and install, even for me. Seller shipped all items as advertised which arrived on the date specified. In Armacost's literature, there is a guide as to how much lighting these power supplies will handle. It is based on the linear footage as well as the density, concentration, number of lights per linear foot that the supply has to feed. Advice here: Better to spend a couple extra bucks to have the extra capacity than to fall short and have to buy a more powerful power supply. That's all. I wanted to replace existing under-cabinet halogens with led strip lights, controlled by an existing dimmer located across the room. The problem with all the other transformer units I found was that they had to be wired in this order: power -> transformer -> dimmer -> leds. To keep using my existing dimmer across the room, I needed to be able to wire it in the order: power -> dimmer -> transformer -> leds. I was so thankful to find this transformer which lets the dimmer be wired EITHER WAY. Also, the dimming control is very smooth, no flicker at all. Very happy with this purchase.

The unit is well built and thought out. It has removable access plates on both ends of the unit making access to the power cord and hook up for lights easy. There are terminal ends that are marked for easy hookup. I would recommend this power supply to anyone.
