"A Modern Map of Bedfordshire, Drawn from the latest Surveys, Corrected and Improved by the best Authorities. J. Ellis sculp."

A genuine antique county map, taken from James Ellis's "New English Atlas" which was first issued in 1765. The order of names in the imprint below ("Printed for Carrington Bowles in St Pauls Church Yard & Rob. Sayer in Fleet Street") suggests an edition of 1766.

Uncoloured, as issued. An attractive early county map in a good restored state.

I am selling three other Ellis maps from this atlas on ebay this week. Please see my other items.

Size: the sheet on which the map has been laid down measures approx. 29.5cms x 23cms.
Condition: This map has been professionally restored and laid down on archival paper. Restoration was particularly needed bottom left and along the bottom, and this has been carried out successfully. The rest of the map is in a very good condition, and it would frame up nicely. Please study my photographs.

Postage: £3.00 within the UK. £9.00 to Europe, £12.00 to USA etc.
I have other antique maps, books, prints etc. in my ebay shop - please see my other items.
