THIS IS ONE OF THE ABSOLUTE RAREST RADIO SHOWS THAT EVER AIRED BECAUSE OF ITS SOMEWHAT LIMITED DISTRIBUTION BECAUSE IT WAS A SMALLER SYNDICATOR.

BUT, THAT DOES NOT TAKE ANYTHING AWAY FROM THE QUALITY OF THE SHOW.  IT IS TRULY FANTASTIC.

IT FEATURED TWO AMAZING DJ's.  THE FIRST WAS 'FAST JIMI ROBERTS' BEST KNOWN FROM WPLJ IN NEW YORK CITY,  AND THE SECOND, MAGIC MATT ALLEN FROM Z-100 IN NEW YORK CITY AND KIIS-FM IN LOS ANGELES

Best known for his fifteen year run at 95.5 WPLJ New York, Fast Jimi Roberts he had spent the past twenty years at the CBS Radio now Entercom cluster with time in afternoons at CHR “B102.7” WXYV, Hot AC “Mix 106.5” WWMX, and Oldies 102.7 WQSR before moving to WLIF in Baltimore in 2005. He began his career in his native Louisiana and worked at WMEE Fort Wayne, KIIQ Colorado Springs and WMJY Long Branch NJ before moving to WPLJ in 1984

On May 3, 1974, Roberts said,  'I walked into KLIC in Monroe, Louisiana, with a 5-minute tape of news for my first job interview. Two hours later, I was on the air with no experience, and a career was born. 45 years! Wow, how did that happen?! My journey took me from Louisiana to Mississippi, Indiana, Colorado, NYC, Washington DC and Baltimore.'

Magic Matt Alan was born in Portland, Oregon  and began his career in radio in Washington state.  After stints at KNBQ in Tacoma, Seattle's KYYX, KJR, KFI Los Angeles and at KRBE in Houston.  Alan came to prominence as the most listened to afternoon drive time radio personality in America at the leading New York Top 40 radio station Z100 in the '80s. However, Z100 star DJ Scott Shannon was a fixture in the morning shift, blocking any possibility of Alan graduating to that slot.

In 1989, after a successful stint in New York City, Alan was lured to leading Los Angeles Top 40 station 102.7 KIIS-FM. Alan's "high energy" afternoon show was again very successful in this market. In fact, by 1991, Alan's ratings had surpassed those of nationally syndicated KIIS-FM morning host Rick Dees   Alan pressed the KIIS-FM management for a promotion to the breakfast shift, but the station refused, according to Alan, because Dees was tied to a long-term contract.  This impasse led to Alan being fired from KIIS-FM in October 1991, with management citing philosophical differences over the direction of his show.

After a stint in San Diego,  and a brief return to KIIS-FM in 1996, Alan, also known as Mr. Cigar, created OUTLAW RADIO USA broadcasting from an 1876 style Virginia City Bar built in his backyard. His live Saturday show on the Internet features many famous and semi-famous guests, plus a crew of "regulars" whose motto is "We Smoke We Drink We Interrupt." Alan is currently heard on the Sirius/XM 70's on 7 channel.

CUTLER PRODUCTIONS' PARTY AMERICA are presented on virgin vinyl and contain great music, interviews and special features.

The show comes on  2 LP's in like new condition  and are distributed by THE CUTLER PRODUCTIONS SPECIAL FEATURES RADIO NETWORKS.

The cue sheets  come with this show and are in excellent condition.

This show aired on August 23, 1991 and is show #91-34

Even the commercials after 32 + years are fun to listen to.  We used to hate them and wanted to get back to the show but now they even bring back fond memories of a different time and era.  On this show you will hear Bugle Boy, Sea Breeze,Greyhound Lines, TGI Fridays, US Marines, Brockum Trading Cards, and more.

So, again, what is a radio show?

Radio Shows are syndicated productions by one of several large and small distributors who supply broadcast product to radio stations normally during weekends when the usual air personalities have a break.

Many air on Saturday or Sunday mornings, afternoons or evenings or less often on weekdays or during overnight segments.  They often feature some of the best known voices for their genre from across the country thus the Dick Clark's and Casey Kasem's and Rick Dees and Dick Bartley and so many others.

People collect them for various reasons.

Some just collect the series because they like it and want them all.

Some collect their favorite artists or genre of music.  Rather than an album by the artist or a compilation, they have a unique presentation of their favorite artist or music not available anywhere else and often with dj presentation which is very entertaining.

Some collect interviews with their favorite artists as most shows had interview segments.

Some collect commercials especially old car commercials but certainly not limited to only those.

AND, these shows are in limited quantity.

They were pressed just for affiliate stations and many have just a few in circulation.  Some of the more popular shows may have as many as a few hundred of each week's show that survived but think about it.  A few hundred for some 200 million Americans and millions of overseas collectors who look for unique presentations of their favorite artists or form of music. And, this show was pressed in much fewer quantities because Cutler Productions was a minor player in the syndication market.

Many radio stations just tossed them away after airing because they could never be aired again due to the time limited commercials and the limited storage space at most radio stations (believe me I know, I worked at one as an on air personality for over seven glorious years!)

SO they are increasingly hard to find.

They were first distributed on reel to reel tape or on lp, later on CD and even later (after 2000 for most shows) on CDR.  Now they are not available at all to collectors since they are distributed by digital download much like you get your music from iTunes.

These shows become rarer and rarer every day because the people who buy them hold on to them.  The shows that you get now and hold on to will never decrease in value and only increase.

I have prided myself since the start to provide the best and fairest cost with a no holds barred guarantee that you will be happy or I refund your money.  I sell them for near what I bought them for.  I give volume discounts and discount postage always.  As the postal service increases their rates, my shipping rates over the years has decreased.

And, I have one of the biggest radio show libraries in the world consisting of over fifteen thousand shows, so many that I don't even know all that I have and am sometimes amazed when I go to look for one show and find another that I did not realize I had.

Finally, it is Americana at its best.

Whether the show be from the 60's or 2000's, rock, countdown, oldies, country, classical, religious, jazz or big band, it is unique and home grown.  And you just can't find them anywhere.  Even record stores that still exist will rarely have any.

Radio shows are wonderful representations of the real golden age of radio at least music wise.  And every  one you buy is  an original, not a copy, not a remake .  Once you get hooked, like me, it is a love affair for life!    Welcome to the Club!

Remember, when you buy this show, not only will you own the tunes but also interspersed between songs is fascinating commentary on the artists and songs and wonderful interview segments and other features.

Also, keep in mind that this and all  shows are not just about the music - the music can be found anywhere.  It is the mixture of great music and great announcing that makes it so entertaining.

As well, it is a piece of radio history.  You just aren't going to find these shows anymore.  Think of what they will be worth in a few years!  (IF you wanted to sell.)  I am selling to share with other music lovers what I was able to get at a reasonable price

Most people even enjoy the national commercials that are included on the show because some 33 years later they sound fresh and bring back more innocent time!    It is a great show and would be a valuable addition to your collection

Good Luck and God Bless You
