Set of 4 service plates in the Ascot (Village) pattern by Wood and Sons, England.
Each plate has a different village scene, surrounded by a forest green border, a floral rim, and scalloped gold trimmed edge.
Crafted in England ca. 1950's - 1960's and now discontinued, these plates show some crazing in the white border.  This age related crazing is expected in vintage ironstone and earthenware.  The transfer patterns in the center of the plates are in very good condition and show no crazing.
The plates measure approximately 10 1/2" in diameter.
