This item is an excellent "all in one" powerful and rugged 2D USB barcode scanner from world leaders, Honeywell - selling on the internet for around £280. The model is the XP (eXtreme Performance) Xenon 1950GSR-2-2-INT, providing instant reading of all barcode types from any media including LCD and phone screens. It has an integrated adjustable ratchet stand to allow hands free automatic scanning when barcodes are passed in front from any angle, and is light enough to pick up and aim manually, instantly converting to trigger operated mode. It is offered as a complete plug-and-play kit of scanner and (used) USB cable. The reading speed of Xenon XP scanners is ultra rapid, and has excellent motion tolerance - examples can be found on Youtube. It reads all normal barcodes, (EAN,code 39, code 128 etc.) plus 2D codes such as the examples in the picture above.
The scanner is in NEW out of box condition (one opened to photograph) and is complete with a good used plug and play 3 metre USB cable.
The scanner is plug and play. Attach the USB cable from base to computer, and the characters from the barcode appear on screen as if they had been typed in, so any application that will accept typed characters will work with this scanner !
