Appears to be a real tarantula encased in lucite or acrylic. 4" round 2 1/2" tall. Has felt backing and a tag which keeps falling off. Tag describes Tarantula as Largest American spider ,bites only when annoyed. Painful but not dangerous.Great for spider lovers.
