Prue is one of our rare overseas purchases, made by The Sassy Cow in MO USA who made really appealing and unusual teddys back in the day.
Prue has been made a bit like a long raggedy-doll, with sewn-in arms and legs that can flop around making her able to sit or flex however you might like to position her.
Prue is made of distressed felt-like cotton fabric and is dressed in a charming raggedy dress and collar over half-length bloomers. She also has a little bow near her ear and comes complete with her own little wooden lamb pull-toy to keep her company.
Prue is longer than many fellow bruins, and shines with wonderous golden flair, now longing to join new friends with whom to share her golden shine……perhaps in your collection?
Prue has a jointed head, sewn-in arms and legs (as described above), and:
- Is made from distressed felt-like cotton fabric
- Is approximately 54cm long and 26cm tall when seated
- has black glass eyes
- has a black dyed nose
- has filling of poly-fill
- wears a dress, collar and bloomers and a bow
- comes with a wooden lamb pull-toy
- comes with a loose makers / name label
Prue is an artist bear that can be handed down the generations, and not a toy; not suitable for small children (owing to danger of small pieces) but would make a wonderful addition or a great start to any collection.
All our bears are from our bear collection which we are slowly selling off. Our bears have been housed behind glass and they have been well looked after, they were all bought new and remain in excellent condition. Our bears are like family, and we will be sad to see them go, but they will be very happy to join your bear family.
