The AJA D4E SDI to Composite or Y/C NTSC/PAL Converter features two BNC output connectors that via a dipswitch are configurable to output an SDI signal as Composite NTSC/PAL or as Y/C NTSC/PAL. A separate adapter, in most applications, is required to accept the Y/C output on whatever device you'll be connecting it to. All the outputs are separately buffered. The configuration dipswitch is an 8-switch control accessible through a cut-out on the bottom of the converter. Pedestal and narrow/wide H/V blanking are also configurable via the dipswitch. The converter automatically selects between NTSC or PAL. 

The converter encodes the full dynamic range of input video. Levels below black and above white are not clipped.
