Surge ST splitboard bindings

The Surge ST is popular with big line pro riders and mountain town legends alike. It's a powerful binding perfect for big days and big lines.

The solid baseplate design, stiffer Asym Rip 'N' Flip spoilers and more supportive Pillow Line ankle straps combine to give riders more control over challenging terrain. All Surge ST bindings incorporate our industry-leading Tesla T1 technology. Our NEW Smooth Touring (ST) technology is featured on our ST stirrups and ST Whammy handlebars. These components use a proprietary thermoplastic blend that is molded to the metal part reducing friction, increasing durability and improving tour efficiency.

In the box: splitboard bindings, ST brackets, T1 heel rests, mounting screws and Spark Pocket Tool.

Highback Surge Asym Rip 'N' Flip

Our NEW Surge ST Asym Rip 'N' Flip Highback has a high amount of fiberglass padding for a stiff ride and maximum response. The Asym Highbacks have been redesigned in 22/23 and now feature individual left and right highbacks for improved ergonomics. The upper section of the spoiler is flatter allowing for greater lateral mobility. All Rip 'N' Flip highbacks incorporate a tool-free forward lean (FLAD) adjuster that easily switches between tour and ride modes.

Touring ST stirrups

ST Touring mounts incorporate the best characteristics of aluminum and thermoplastic materials. We overmolded our custom plastic blend over and through the holes in the aluminum base, forming bushings that last four times longer than the previous brass version.

ST Whammy Bar

The ST Whammy Bar climbing cable is integrated directly into the baseplate. Overmolded plastic where the bar contacts the baseplate allows for extremely smooth climbing line position changes on steeps. You can easily switch from stowed, to low (12°), to high (18°) and back again during the tour .

Pillow line straps

The Pillow line straps are lightweight, durable, comfortable, waterproof, made in one piece and 100% made in-house. The Surge ST ankle straps are wide and asymmetrical around the boot for incredible 360-degree support. The toe straps are designed to be used as a toe cap, but also fit well as a traditional strap on the top of the boot.
