The Double, 2 ear or ‘O’ clip is an inexpensive, easy assembly clip which has many applications in addition to its normal role of sealing hoses against loss of liquid, air or gases. Additionally, we offer the 1 ear clip which, though slightly more limited in scope, offers an excellent solution to certain clamping application.

End Closing Pincer:
An end closing pincer is a tool that is used to accurately and precisely close O-clips. The jaws are induction hardened for accurate and precise closure of O-clips.
A side and end closing pincer is a tool used to crimp single or double ear O-clips to ensure a proper seal. It is ideal for use when access to the ear is difficult.
Choose the right size of clamp for your hose. The clamp should fit snugly around the hose without being too tight or too loose.
Slide the clamp over the end of the hose and position it where you want it to be. Make sure the ears are facing up and accessible.
Use a special tool called an End Closing or Side and end closing pincer to crimp the ears. The pincers have a groove that fits over the ear and applies pressure to close it. You can also use a side cutter, but be careful not to damage the hose or the clamp.
Crimp one ear first, then the other. Make sure both ears are fully closed and secure. Check the clamp for leaks and adjust if needed. You can also use a second clamp for extra security if you want.
How To Decide on The Size:
Always measure the outside (O.D) of the hose, not the internal diameter (I.D), then match the outside diameter of the hose to the inside diameter of the clamp. If the hose is 15mm outside diameter, use a 14mm-17mm clamp.
Place the pilers on the ear like the image Above
Squeeze until the double ear comes off
