HOW CAN YOU CHECK WHAT VERSION YOU HAVE?

Go to "Navigation" > Choose "Map" > Press Options button > Select "Navigation settings" > Scroll down to "Position and version" > Select "Version information"

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

For USB method activation all you will need is a USB flash drive format to FAT 32. Then transfer the file we provide on to the USB and follow the instructions provided.

HOW TO ORDER

Once you place the order please provide the last 7 digits of your VIN Number and screenshot of your idrive version eg. NBTevo_X. 

Files are normally emailed/dispatched within 10 mins - 7 hours after purchase.

HOW TO INSTALL IT

USB ACTIVATION

1. After purchase i will send you email to your ebay email address with activation file then copy this file on fat32 formatted usb memory stick once in car plug it in armrest usb and leave it for 30 seconds. after remove usb stick and restart your idrive by pressing and holding volume button until idrive screen goes off then let volume button go. Wait 10 to 15 seconds and your idrive will restart and you will see a blue screen like on image 6 of this listing and automatically will code and install new features.

2. After install if you don't see carplay option please delete/unpair your phone from idrive and delete from your phone and lock your car for 10 min after that pair everything again and you are ready to go.

Some cars come without WIFI antenna, if you don't have wireless charging or screen mirroring as a standard option in your vehicle you most likely don't have a WIFI antenna alternatively you can send us your last 7 digit VIN and we can confirm this for you.
