Lab-grade malt extract formulation, sufficient for 1 liter final volume of medium.

Malt extract 20.00 grams

Peptone 1.00 grams

Dextrose 20.00 grams

Add to ~800 mL distilled water. Stir to mix. Bring to final volume of 1000 mL. We recommend autoclaving then allowing to cool to the point where containers of the solution are warm, but cool enough to be handled safely. Swirl containers to ensure contents are well-mixed, cool and inoculate with fungus in your flow hood or glove box.

IMPORTANT: This product does not contain agar! It will not gel. It is for liquid culture of mushrooms, which most people will use in conjunction with a stir plate. If you do not know what liquid culture is, this product is almost certainly not for you.
