Cold painted bronze model after a similar model created by Friedrich Goldscheider, Vienna, c. 1900. The age of this item is estimated to be early 20th century based on condition. A seated and obviously happy African American boy. Depicted in a joyful, yet non-derogatory manner. Signed "Cook" on the upper left leg.

The sculpture is 21" long in total, 6" wide, and 7" deep. The weight is approximately 10 pounds. Very good antique condition with wear commensurate with age. Please examine photos closely. The piece is structurally sound, however, there is a loose piece of metal inside the model.
