For sale is an original printing block for "The Choir", a 1979 design cut by Richard Correll ( 1904-1990 ).
It shows a small group of all, or mostly, African-American singers. Correll was known for his dramatic black
and white prints often featuring social or political subjects. His work is in many collections especially at the
University of Washington libraries in Seattle.

This block has been cancelled by the artist by cutting lines across the image so that no more prints could be
made therefore limiting the edition. The art is 21 1/2" x 15 1/2" mounted to composition board 22 3/4" x 16".
It weighs 4 pounds 10 ounces.
